Mystery Lovers Awards Night

The Arthur Ellis Awards Gala is fast approaching.  The Sold Out event takes place the evening of Thursday, May 28.  This year’s MC will be Allison Dore, comedian, actor and radio personality.  She is the co-host of the Ward and Al show on SiriusXM’s Canada Talks channel 167.

Up for Best Novel are: Cold Mourning by Brenda Chapman, None So Blind, by Barbara Fradkin, Plague by C. C. Humphrey’s, No Known Grave, by Maureen Jennings, and Killing Pilgrim by Alen Mattich.

On the short list for Best First Novel are: A Quiet Kill, Janet Brons, Siege of Bitterns, Steve Burrows, Windigo Fire, M. H. Callway, No Worst, There is None, by Ever McBride and Last of the Independents by Sam Wiebe.
